Biography

Nicky Hewett is an Integrative Breathing & Wellbeing Educator, Yoga Teacher, and Wellness Specialist from Marlborough, New Zealand, with over 20 years of experience teaching in New Zealand and Asia. Now based in Bangkok, Thailand, she provides breathing education and wellness programs in both corporate and private settings.

Nicky helps people restore healthy breathing patterns and reconnect with their body’s natural capacity for balance and healing.

Drawing on Functional Breathing, Yoga Breathing (Pranayama), the Buteyko Method, Ortho-Postural Breathing, Classical Ayurveda, and contemporary breathing science, including capnography, she combines breathing retraining with posture, movement, relaxation and lifestyle education.

Rather than simply managing symptoms, Nicky helps people understand the patterns that shape their health so they can make informed choices, take responsibility for their wellbeing, and create lasting change. Through personalised guidance and practical education, she equips people with lifelong skills to live a purposeful life and express their true potential.

Nicky’s approach is grounded in the timeless wisdom of classical Ayurveda—the practical science of life. At its heart is the understanding that each of us is unique, so there is no “one size fits all” approach to health and wellbeing.

By cultivating self-awareness, we learn to move through life’s changes with greater balance and ease. Our breath is one of the simplest and most powerful tools to support this journey.
